Actually, it would likely have been da other way around --- having no flesh or blood, everyone's favorite puppet most likely could not have gotten a hard-on even if he'd wanted one, plus da elderly carver Geppetto very likely didn't even give Pinocchio a "woodpecker" in da first place. After he became a real boy and was overjoyed to be able to wake up and see his own supple flesh instead of just dense dry tree-fiber, however, he would have also gained all of his "normal male human" bodily organs, and so he might indeed have had to deal with embarrassing "morning wood", especially in a few years when he became a teenager.

Good Morning, Your Majesty

A formal greeting to greet the Queen of the Darling world; this phrase is usually spoken by the Old Man, or occasionally the Leaves Old Man in a song. The tune is recognised throughout the Palace and is one of the most recognisable songs in modern history.

Often, it is spoken not in the morning but rather late at night when the Queen is reading in bed. This may be confusing but most Palace members are used to it.

Early morning riser

A person who wakes up early in the morning. The title of a Pure Prairie League song from 1972.

I think that one of the keys to my success is that I am an early morning riser. Because of this, I tend to associate mostly with other early morning risers. We drink coffee together.
