A close relative to the "skippy", a guy smiley is a relentless loser who is overly friendly, overly excitable, painfully annoying, and has an overall goofy appearance. Guy smiley's are almost always completely unaware of their extreme dorkiness. Guy smiley's are often homosexual, or at least raise suspicion to their sexual orientation.

Someone who frown-smiles. They either do so because 1) they are not confident enough to smile, or 2) they want to create the impression of modesty and ingenuousness. This latter reason is usually a means to a particular end, for instance frown smiling in order to convince an audience of a statement or belief.

Why does Butthead such a frown smiler?

Smiley Race

A race of smiley faces people. Those on msn that ONLY collect smiley faces emoticons are racist to the rest of the emoticons, such as the LOL emoticon, and the WTF emoticon. The smiley face race tends to be yellow, but may sometimes mutate to an odd shade of blue. They too, are people. We must treat them all with respect because they DO exist.
