Pulling a Maya

Pulling a Maya is when you almost say something inappropriate in front of someone, but catch yourself before saying something potentially compromising.
Not exclusive but usually occurs in females called Maya, and while speaking to large audiences in public.

"Dang dude I totally pulled a Maya back there"

"Thank god I caught that one, I almost pulled a Maya this time"
