Used primarily in gaming terminology. Refers to the amount of "health" a character has left. Often health shows up as a red or green bar on the screen, as the health diminishes the bar becomes black. The term "black-barred" is used when an individual has so little health remaining that no red or green may be seen, simply the black bar that has replaced it. Generally used as an expression of emergency.

If you are a Heavy and eat the Dalokohs Bar, (Depending on if you have full health), it adds +50 max health for 30 seconds. Instead of healing you to 300 health, it only heals 100 health. Now another thing is if you combine the +50 max health + the Fists of Steel, you can survive some (not all), but some taunt kills. (Also when dropped it acts as a small health kit)
