happy eight

a phrase similar to, and building upon, your typical 'happy hour'. However, thanks to getting easily captivated by great friends, hearty laughs, strong drinks and good music, 'happy hour' usually extends beyond the standard period of time, usually in late afternoon and early evening, during which a bar or lounge features drinks at reduced prices, and generally carries on well into the wee hours of the morning. Before you know it, you've been celebrating for eight hours......'happy eight'!

It's Friday night, the bar has happy hour from 4-7, but I feel a 'happy eight' in the making.

Legally Happy

When an individual feels happy by doing something legal.

Knowing that playing music after 11:00 P.M. would be make him illegally happy, the teenage boy raised the volume of the music he was listening to and was legally happy knowing that from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. the police, enforcing the laws, allowed anyone to play music below 8 decibels.

Happy Shour

Consuming an adult beverage while showering.

Actual time of day and number of participants has no influence. A Happy Shour can occur anytime with a wide variety of cocktails from mimosas to whiskey shots. If your local watering hole has a "2-4-1" happy hour, then double fisting may apply, or even quite possibly an "All Day Happy Shour"
