Taternomics

The effect of an artificial and exponential increase in the price of certain bourbons brought on mainly by internet hype and hoarding of bottles by those looking not to drink them, but solely to resell them for profit. These bottles are often adorned by custom stickers and the increase in price typically has little to do with the actual quality of the bourbon inside.

Due to taternomics, that $50 bottle of Blanton’s is hard to find for under $100.
