Vasagna

Vegetable lasagna. A veggie based variation of lasagna made with layers of vegetables, sauce, and cheese, often replacing pasta sheets with aubergine or courgette for a lighter structure.

(Example 1) When I go to restaurants with my mates, we always ask for “Vasagna” because it’s quicker than saying vegetarian lasagna, just like Spag Bol instead of Spaghetti Bolognese.

(Example 2) Even Jamie Oliver could make a one-pan Vasagna.
