Someone who lies in wait with a keen eye for someone who is about to leave, taking the opportunity to pounce and force a conversation upon his/her prey.

I’m leaving the office now, I am going to army crawl to the door so I don’t get snatched by the conversation pouncer, if you don’t hear from me in 15 minutes, please start a fire in the building so I can be released from the jaws of this predator.

Conversation mites

People who doesn't contribute to a conversation in any meaningful way and clutter the conversation

Usually can be identified by their excessive use of "Lol","Lmao" or by saying random sentences in contrary of a conversation is taking place

Steve: Have you seen the new movie?

Paul: Lol

Fred: Yeah and it was trash

Paul: Lmao

Steve: oh.

Paul: Lol

Fred: You're such a Conversation mites Paul, shut the fuck up

Conversation Bear Trap

A social situation in which one wanders into an inescapable -and typically brutally awkward - conversation unwittingly. Often victims will step into the conversation bear trap with an innocuous greeting like, "Hey Deb, what's up?"

"Careful around that new Account Manager, dude's a conversation bear trap."

"Whatever you do, don't ask Andi about her wedding. Conversation bear trap."

Conversation Ninja

One makes a single random comment in someone elses conversation, which ends up killing it and making it awkward for everyone else. This is similar to a ninja swiftly killing a target then exiting.

Guy 1: Hey, do you see that really hot chick over there?
Guy 2: Hell yea, Id hit that all night!
Conversation Ninja: I screwed her and gave her herpes *disappears*
Guy 1: Oh... Im gonna go now.

Conversation Jacker

Almost immediately after beginning to tell a story, you are interrupted by someone who begins to tell their own story of how the same thing happened to them. The interrupter continues to talk about themselves, and they never ask you about your story as if it never happened.

"I began to tell Stephanie how I almost got into an accident today, but she started telling me how she almost got into an accident as soon as I started my story!Then she just kept talking about all the accidents she almost got into in her life and never asked me about my accident. She's such a conversation Jacker."

Conversation Stalemate

The point in a conversations when a reply to "lol", "mhmm", etc. are met with the same/similar response, stagnating or stopping the conversation. Occurs most commonly in text messages and phone calls.

Al: "So then I had to buy up all the bread in the store. Crazy, right?"
Joe: "Yeah!"
Al: "Mhmm."
Joe: "Mhmm."
Al: "We hit a conversation stalemate, I'll text you later."

Conversation Starter

The term used for a $1 bill in a strip club/shake joint setting.

As one friend pulls out a wad of $1 bills, his buddy says to his friend:

"Damn man, look at all those those conversation starters...."

Another example would be:

Friend #1: Damn man, we heading to the shake joint so you know I need some ones.

Friend #2: We straight bro, I got change for dat 20 at the liquor store, so we got 20 conversation starters between the two of us.
