assenterbot

A description of a typical inhabitant of Accenture, a so-called "management consultancy".

A description of someone emotionally lobotomised and programmed to create large decks of Microsoft Powerpoint slides at random. They "communicate" with each other using random verbiage generators. Accenture bots do not eat, rather they go to expensive resteraunts and argue about who knows more about the menus. They then order, pay and leave without eating as a demonstration of "thinking outside the box about process"

Assenterbots simulate aspects of the human behaviour called "annual leave"; they may go on holiday on a yacht in Thailand, they will still attend 2 hour daily conference calls.

Once an assenterbot decides to leave the Collective, other members of the Collective will ignore it in corridors.
Jim had to work with three assenterbots. They spent three months to prepare a 1000 slide presentation that took two days to show. By that time, Jim had already designed and implemented a new system - so he kicked their asses out the door!

british accent

There is no such thing as a "British accent" - Britain is made up of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. There are literally hundreds of different accents spoken across the whole of the British Isles. The accent that people are most commonly referring to when they say "British accent" is an accent spoken in some parts of south east England.

The south east accent is the one most frequently heard outside of Britain in the media and in films (curse you Hugh Grant!) so people don’t really hear many different accents from across the British isles which has led to the stereotyping of the "British accent".
Hugh Grant, Austin Powers, that guy in Oceans 11 (Worse "british accent" impression EVER).

Minnesota/Midwestern Accent

The "Minnesota" accent is actually called either the Upper Midwestern Dialect or if you are talking about northern MN it is called the North Central Dialect. Both of these include other Midwestern states as well. The "Minnesota" accent is influenced by Scandinavian and Canadian dialects. There is a large population of Norwegian immigrants which is where a lot of the speech traits come from. The Upper Midwestern Dialect is the most common throughout the state. This includes traits like elongating vowels, esspeciall O. The North Central Dialect is more of the stereotypical "sing-song" kind of accent. Many people with the North Central Dialect will use V in the place of W. Turning "Well" into "Vell". Another reason for some of these differences is because many languages that influenced these dialects do not have many of the same phonemes that Standard American English has. So there you go... an indepth analysis of the "Minnesota" accent. (And trust me... Minnesotans do have an accent. I grew up there and then moved to the west and people catch it all the time!)
