Get the pine island mnmug. A member of the female sex that hails from Nassau or Suffolk county; technically, Queens and Kings (Brooklyn) county females are "Long Island" girls, but out in the real world you'll get looks for saying that.
Many of them do strange things like wear their hair like they're Native Americans going to war, fake eyelashes, too much make-up etc. At least they put a great deal of care into their appearance.
Some of them come from well-off families. Some of the girls from Long Island go to college at the University at Buffalo; this saves them about $15,000 a year in tuition vs. most NYC universities, which they proceed to bilk their parents out of by getting them to buy them a new car. Frankly, I'm impressed by their cleverness.
Overall, they're girls like any other. I personally have found the Long Island girls I've met to be very friendly and sweet (and I'm not the best looking guy by any means), so I would say the stereotype of them being shallow is a little inaccurate.
No comment on the stereotype about them being airheads, though.

Get the in-bred island monkeymug. I would like to say that all Staten Island girls are not the same. I am not like the stereotypes. Yes, I was born on Staten Island. And yes I own a couple coach bags. And a Northface. But why is that a bad thing. Coach is very popular. So is The North Face brand. So why is liking these things so stereotypical. If I went to Connecticut and was wearing my Coach bag and my Northface and straightened my hair.. would everyone whisper to eachother.. oh, i think she is one of those staten island girls. I don't think so. So why is it so important to try and put us down. Because I take pride in what I look like I got to be called trashy. How does that make sense. But on the other hand. I have friends from both the north shore and the south. I don't pretend to be something I'm not. And I am Italian. But I don't think I can make "One phone call" and think your just going to disappear. I hate drama. Save that shit for tv. I cant stand the "OMG no way.. you bitch, you stole my bf." If he wants you, he was never good enough for me.. so you can have him. Now both of you leave me alone, I don't care!! And Im not rich..
