All John Doe talks about is literature and its merits while ignoring his drinking problem. I would call his obsession one big “art cope”

organic arts

The word is a reference to a movement in both popular & underground cultures called "The Organic Arts Movement." The organic arts include: paintings, records, sculptures, and printed literature are considered organic arts. Performance Style Arts (any form) from Farming, Music, Painting, Dancing, and most other physical representations of any cultural subject. This includes rendering digital formats, images, and literary information to physical form. Some people Disagree with the factual existence of the ever present movement, and wish to suppress the efforts of curators.

A digital image might become a work of the "organic arts" if said work is in some way rendered to physical form, if not hard copy.
The amazing painting at the museum was a great example of "organic arts"

Synthorganic or synthorganics art are new on the scene. Synthorganic art might be made digitally but it represents and evokes the natural world in ways that traditional art cannot. Synthorganics are the next big thing in art.
