Widely considered as a sociopath or messed up obsessed psychopath who is obsessed with cooking red meat beefs. He turns into a monster(he calls his killer instincs as dark passenger) after experiencing his mother's brutal execution with chainsaw made by drug dealers in a container. In my opinion Dexter's last season was full of disappointment and his behaviors on last season were against the nature and definiton of a psychopath. So my personal opinion is he is a pure sociopath. BTW His son is a real pimp. Except from the last season, it's totally a masterpiece and you should read the book of show.
Jacob: I love Halloween. The one time of year when everyone wears a mask not just me.
Mark: Patrick Bateman?
Jacob: lol, Dexter Morgan.
Mark: Difference?
Jacob: At least he does not slay innocent ladies.
Mark: Lol, 'innocent ladies'
Jacob: Shh, don't give spoilers.

A popular phrase known for being quoted by character, “Paul”. Allow it is used to express the want of you to stop an action.
“I love you cousin!” Morgan says to her boyfriend Paul, “Ew, allow it Morgan, Stop it!!” He responds.
“Allow it Morgan” or “Allow it” means to cut it out, or to stop it.
