Do me (band)

A non-sexual term referring to the way a band kid asks for assistance from fellow band kids to put on his or her jacket as part of their uniform. The jacket itself is very difficult to put on by itself because the zipper is on the back. Unless you are a freak of nature, you need help putting it on. This ritual of the doing normally begins with a band kid half in the uniform turning around as they say "Do me", the band kid leans over as the second band kid takes their quivering hand and slowly zips up their jacket. Once this is done, the band kids parts ways to do other people.

Band kid 1: Hey band kid 2, "Do me (band)"
Band kid 2: *Zips up jacket*
Band kid 1: Thank you! *walks away*

Domestic Abuse

When a person can't have things the way they want so they use power and control to try to coerce their partner into doing something they don't want to (also known as hyper control). Usually, women are not abusive, but they can become abusive because of prior abuse as a Coping method. Sometimes people ask why does a women go back to an abusive husband, one reason is because the prior abuse they received for so long has made them feel like it is normal to be abused.

Police come out to a "Domestic Abuse" calling because a man has just threw a remote at his wife after punching the wall. This would be considered abuse even if the remote was not thrown because punching the wall was done by the man to scare her into doing something she might not want to do. He also did this to scare her into doing something she might not want to do

A domestic partnership is a legal or personal relationship between two individuals who live together and share a common domestic life but are are unable or choose not to be joined by marriage or civil union. May be same-sex or opposite-sex partners.

Lynn and Sue have a common partner, Tom. They are a polyamorous family who share a home. While Sue and Tom are legally married, Lynn and Tom have a domestic relationship.

Pronunciation:
dome (with emphasis on the long 'oh' sound)
face (with major emphasis on the long 'ay' sound)
* 'Domeface' is often yelled jokingly after 4 shotting nubs with the BR.

Originating in the dangerous suburbs of Berkeley, CA, 'domeface' was invented by the roommate of Halo player Brightside318 after mishearing the word 'domepiece' from former Halo player TheMrMagenta. The roommate eventually used the term as his gamertag - he is currently retired...for now.

Domestic Financial Terrorist (DFT's)

Any executive within the Banking, Mortgage or Insurance industries that, despite their own failed job performance, still believe they should be grossly over-compensated at the expense of stockholders, or more recently, taxpayers, via bailout monies.

Executives at AIG are a prime example of a Domestic Financial Terrorist (DFT's). After they run their company into the ground, they keep their job then pay themselves millions of taxpayer bailout money as a bonus.

Also known as Poo-Flinging-Office-Monkeys.(No offense to monkeys, they likely would have done a better job running AIG).
