A shortened variation of the greeting Hello , substituting the 'o' for an 'I' ( ee) sound and containing a hard and prominent 'E' ( Egh ) thus removing the 'H' ( aych ) to create a more personalised greeting - generally used by those who prefer cute or appealing but forgettable greetings.
