A very well acted and interesting show, full of twists and turns.
Contrary to popular belief, men who watch it are not necessarily homosexual. In fact, the majority are very, very heterosexual and enjoy Marissa Cooper and Summer Roberts.
Once in a while even Anna, except she's gotta do something about that buzz cut.
Also, all males can directly relate/strive to be either Ryan Atwood or Seth Cohen.

Lou: Hey Ryan dude, what are you doing tonight?
Ryan: Well I got all my homework done so I'm watching 2 discs of the OC.
Lou: Oh hahaha what time?
Ryan: Six.
Lou: I'll be there at five.

Phrase used to describe an "obsessive compulsive" trait. If the person seems to have an repetitive desire, or somewhat recurring and absurd need, then he/she will be regarded as "OC"
"I need to type up all of my history notes from today." -"Dude, you're so OC"
"Black pens are all I write with; color disturbs me"
"Dawg, you're OC"

Meaning "Own Character" an OC is a character made up by a person, to be used literally as thier "own character" for fanfictions,(with or without a character from an anime series) picture ideas, ect. An OC is often a non-human, (i.e. Vampire, Werewolf, ect.) or sometimes an anthro character. It is also often for OC to be in anime-style when drawn.
On occasion, groups of friends will act and speak like thier OCs would, for fun. They often "switch" between each OC and thier own personalites.

Amy: Omg i just wrote a really random fanfic about my OC, Kitty and Nicole's OC, Ben.
Jane: Haha, cool. I just finished Drawing a pic of my OC, Danny!
Amy: (Talking as her OC) Yeah, Amy wrote the craziest story, even I don't get it! and I'm 1126 years old!
Jane: (also as OC) Ha, well Jane-chan drew an AWESOME picture of me!
