Most of them believe in the La Raza ideology which pushes to reunite the Southwestern US with Mexico and in some cases, the Midwest, Rockies and British Columbia as well.

Latin America consists of all of South America, Central America, Mexico, Haiti, and the three Caribbean islands where Spanish is the official language (Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Dominican Republic). Although Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese people, and certain other European groups speak a Latin-derived language and/or are descendents of Latin people, they are not "Latinos", because the term "Latino" is nowadays used to specifically refer to people from Latin America or of Latin American descent. Latin America is a melting pot, therefore Latinos can be of any racial background and can look like anything.
