A sacrificial hoodie, is a hoodie one should buy to prevent your favorite hoodie from being stolen while dating.

If you have extra hoodies, then the hoodie you don't want stolen isn't the one you let them wear.

Guy 1: "This girl I met the bar, I let her have my favorite hoodie I was wearing, and I don't think I'm getting it back..."

Guy 2: "You don't have any sacrificial hoodies? I just got like 12 hoodies at the thrift shop for seven dollars."

hoagie

Philadelphian word for a sub sandwhich. Word likely has its origins from "Hog Island", which was an island intersecting the Delaware and Schuylkyl Rivers. The Irish and Italian people who lived there during the early 20th century where known as "Hog Islanders." In addition, they referred to one another many times as "Hogans" during their lunchbreaks. Eventually, the unique sandwhiches the men ate (they where large loaves of Philadelphian bread filled with meats--a precurser to the moder sub/hoagie) simply became known as "hoggies." Sometime by the end of WWII, the word transformed into its modern pronunciation and spelling: "hoagie."

John: You want to get some sandwhiches at Subway?

Friend: Nah. They're not real hoagies. I'd rather go somewhere else.

Hoodie Skank

A way to wear clothing. Usually this look is achieved by a girl somewhere between the ages of 14-25. The clothing donned in the winter consists of tight, low-riding jeans and a hoodie. For an authentic look the hoodie should belong to a boyfriend and be a few sizes too big. The makeup consists of mostly eye liner and mascara. The makeup in combination with super straightened hair and the hoodie is really the whole key to pulling off the look.

In the summer the jeans can be exchanged for a pair of Soffe shorts that are rolled down at the hips just enough to expose some flesh hanging over the side. Victoria's Secret line of "Pink" sweatpants is also commonly seen in this wardrobe.
