In The Sims, "birthday" signifies a Sim's progression to the next life stage, triggering aging up through interactive steps like blowing out candles on a birthday cake or automatically the day after the actual birthday. Players can use the game's calendar to prepare for birthdays or manually age a Sim up by baking a cake and having them blow out the candles.

Last night in The Sims, I totally forgot it was my Sim's birthday! I had to scramble to bake a cake and get everyone to sing before she aged up. Thankfully, she blew out the candles just in time and entered her teen phase with a new hairstyle!

Birthday Time

Noun. Everybody knows their birthday, but there is exists an event called Birthday Time (coined by Ryan Nguyen).

This event occurs twice a day, everyday and is unique to each person's birthday, i.e. 2:16 am is Ryan's birthday time because he was born on the 16th of February.

You celebrate somebody's birthday time by shouting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIME!" and singing the following Birthday Time Haiku (written by Ryan Nguyen):

Be really happy
Because it is your birthday
But just one minute

Birthday times are especially special when it turns someone's birthday time on their actual birthday day. In these cases, you should sing the birthday time haiku with extra enthusiasm and make sure to remind the recipient that this moment only occurs twice a year to make them feel even more special.

Remember, you only have one minute.

Example 1:
Ryan: "Damn, I should get to bed, its already past my birthday time and I have 8 am class tomorrow..."

Person: "Meh, you've still got time. At least its not pi time yet."

Example 2:
Ryan: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIIIME!!!"

Person: "what the fu--?"

Ryan: "Be really happy! Because it is your birthday! BUT JUST ONE MINUTE!! yaaay :D"

Birthday'd

A prank involving someone being on a friend's Facebook account (either by knowing the password or by the victim leaving their account signed in) changing the birthday of the victim to the next or same day. The consequence being that the victim will be bombarded with many birthday messages on a day that is not their birthday. Performing this several times in one week will yield the best results.

Danny left his Facebook account open! It's high time that he get birthday'd....
