When you are in a certain setting and something with a very opposite vibe comes in. It can be a good or bad vibe.

Let’s say you’re in a dark dramatic setting like a grungy abandoned mall. Then you lay down and look up at the outside glass dome and you see the bright and beautiful sky above you. That’s the vibe shock and the change of vibe catches you off guard.

Or

When you’re out with friends and that one mean bitch who came because a friend invited him over and they just ruin the whole vibe unannounced.
