Throughout the series, it has been stated numerous times that Jack is a natural leader. This has been demonstrated many times by his ability to work under pressure and analyze difficult situations. Jack intentionally represses fear and anxiety, usually in order to remain strong for other people, as he is the one they turn to during a crisis. Arguably the best character from ABC's TV show LOST.
