The Slavic slap is the standard go-to European combat punch. It’s like half-fist and half-slap. Man did watch that Steau Bucharest game versus Red Star Belgrade. That brawl was intense.....that guy from the bench came out of nowhere to deliver the Slavic slap to the Red Star player.

slavitude

A combination of the words slavery and servitude (cf. "indentured servitude"). A special form of unending slavery, in which you have the freedom to quit your job with an abusive employer, but are too financially strained and overworked to find another job. Becoming increasingly common in western economy and society where employees are disposable (and so can be abused mentally/worked to death) and wage increases have not kept up with inflation.

Person 1: Dude, you should really quit your job, they treat you like crap.

Person 2: Yeah, they do, but I barely make rent and jobs are scarce. I guess I'm stuck in slavitude.
