A band that defied labels that formed in 1978. The original members were John Lydon (formerly Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols), Keith Levene, and John Wardle (Jah Wobble). Only John Lydon remained throughout the entire PiL lifespan, making eight studio albums and two live albums. PiL is currently on hiatus.

Public Image Ltd were formed by John Lydon after he left the Sex Pistols along with Jah Wobble (ne John Wardle) and Keith Levene (former Clash guitarist). They sound like nothing you've ever heard before. You'll love 'em or hate 'em.
