PC Master Race

PC master race or (PCMR) is a community of PC gamers that was founded in 2011 on reddit mainly as a joke. The words” PC Master race” refers to the PC gamers as being superior to console gamers. But the PC Master race has grown into a large community of tech enthusiast whose main interest lies in PCs. The post on PCMR mainly consists of threads about tech related to PC gaming, memes and jokes, pictures of their awesome gaming rig, discussions about hardware and tech support. A misconception many console gamers have about the PC master race is that PCMR think themselves as being above console gamers or thinking that consoles are bad.

person 1: hey my PC is bluescreening after i start up a game, can you help me?
person 2: i don't really have time today. why don't you try posting on PC Master race and see if they can help you out.
person 1: yeah sure i'll ask the people over at the subreddit.

Mac/PC

A term used to describe the phenomenon that occurs when 2 people with entirely different or opposing worldviews humour each other and pretend to be friends. Derived from the wildly successful and prolific "Get a Mac" advertising campaign by Apple, in which John Hodgman and Justin Long play personified versions of a personal computer and a Macintosh computer.

1) Atheist: I totally had to Mac/PC it last night; we had our new neighbors over for dinner and it turns out they're devout Jehovah's Witnesses.

2) Pothead: I went for my job interview today, and my potential new boss mentioned he hates marijuana users. Guess I'll have to Mac/PC it if I get the job!
