its when you're against the bed, lying on the floor, with physics textbooks and papers surrounding you in an arc. you begin with your legs tucked in, feet flat on the floor. you may also be solving many equations on the magical whiteboard (use your imagination) or just pondering black holes in your head.

What one calls the person that is waiting for a relationship to break up so they can slip in and steal the other person. The role of catcher's position is difficult to sustain because he or she must listen to every boring relationship detail in hopes of being in-the-know when the time is right to strike.

Term first used in 1990 in Bolton Hill.
