Beacon is a member of a group of schools called the New York Performance Standards Consortium.
Instead of the regular NY State required graduation assessments (Regents Exams), students at Beacon complete performance-based assessments (PBAs) in History, Science, Math, English. However, they still also need to earn a passing score on the ELA Regents Exam.
I AM A STUDENT HERE right now and the school is OK at best. There are ALOT OF BADDIES but that number will go down as a bunch of bumbaclot kids mess up the school.
