Being Pend-Zoned is when you get a friend request through a website (usually from somebody that likes you that you don't like) and you dont accept or reject but leave it in request box forever banishing them to the Pend-Zine

Girl 1: That guy Jeremy guy sent me a friend request on Facebook...
Girl 2: Oh shit aha what'd you do??\
Girl 1: I just Pend-Zoned him

Friend Zone

Getting neglected after confessing your love to someone and being told you are "better off as friends" or that they wouldn't like "ruining your friendship". You don't necessarily have to confess, the other person can simply say something like "you are like a brother to me" *ouch*

Guy 1: How did confessing your feelings to Sarah go?
Guy 2: She left me in the friend zone...
