Describes someone so outrageously drunk they end up horizontal—usually on a couch, the floor, or wherever gravity decides they should be. Comes from the image of someone literally being on their back, flat as a pancake, because standing is no longer an option.

*Three People speaking in a triangular formation; one of them is turned with their back to the other two, while the two are in avid discussion*

Dick- "Oh, is that what you call it." Hmph (back turned to Lizzy, facing Barnaby)
Barnaby- "Did it not occur to you: You're flat-backing your boss... dick"
Lizzy- "You are a dick, Dick"

When an incoherent person who believes the earth is flat and everything is a lie rambles on about their whole belief on how it is "so obvious" that some big company would pay billions of dollars to lie to every civilian on the globe.

Flat Earther: "If the earth is round, then how come we have not been tossed into the ocean yet?"
Intellectual: "Please, stop flat earthing."
