Farmers League

A football league in which the champions are the same every year. The leagues are fun to watch, they score great goals but the ending is always the same unfortunately.

This term came from each of the football seasons in the 2010s. Teams like Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona & Juventus won their leagues many times in the 2010s. Only teams to stop them were Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, Montpellier, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

The reason why the premier league isn’t a farmers league is because all their teams have lots of money to buy great players.

The Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 & La Liga are examples of farmers leagues
