A party held on the anniversary of someone getting their period. Usually just like a regular party, but with a lot of red theming (Food, Drinks, ect.)

"Hey Sammy, are you coming to my Period Party this weekend?"
"No."

past period

A phrase presumably used to mean "recent past." This is a phrase that has been around for a very long time (at least since the 1920's or 30's, probably longer) but is such an underwhelming turn of phrase that comes off as simultaneously pompous and pretentious, that in the year 2023 no one has yet bothered to even enter it into Wiktionary or any other online dictionary. So its time has come, and it is now being entered into one of the greatest dictionaries to grace humanity with its presence. :-)

Arnold Rimmer (character in the TV show Red Dwarf): "It happened in the past period."
Lister: "Past period!? Rimmer, English speakers don't speak like that."

Why this is an exclamation point of course! It is a period that is in a state of enthusiasm. It has nothing to do with vulgar sex stuff or menses.

Teacher: "Okay class. Today we will learn about the exclamation point and what it means. Understood?"

The teacher then draws one on the smartboard.
Ernie: "Umm, Miss B? Why does your period have a boner? It's like a period erection or something!"
Class laughs.
Teacher: "That's enough, class! Ernie! Get your hands out of your pants! You little pervert! Stop staring at my chest!"

Phantom Period

Phantom Periods are typically defined as period pain that comes and goes in a vague manner. You will find yourself on the toilet hunched over in pain, only to realize the pain isn't really THAT bad, or even worse, that there wasn't any pain in the first place. This type of pain cannot be conveyed properly in speech.

Me: I'm having a Phantom Period.
Period Normie: what's that?
Me: When you're on your period and it hurts but it also doesn't.
Period Normie: da fuk
