The sound a claymore makes in Call of Duty 4 when you trip it. Its nickname is the death tick because when you hear the "tick" you die.

Blues death

Dying in a shotgun shack or cheap motel while busted flat and at the end of the line; a forlon, lonely ending such as expiring in a broken down cot in a homeless shelter or at the back of a gym; death via state-sanctioned execution, substance abuse, or at the hands of a cuckolded husband.

The red circle that appears around your Xbox 360 when it has loose cables or brakes down. The number of lines indicate the problem.

Person 1: Shit man, I was playing my 360, when the ring of death came up, now it's fucked.

Person 2: Yeah, I heard about that, that's fucked.

death grenade

A grenade kill, where the thrower of the grenade is dead before their victim. Often, but not necessarily the grenade thrower kills their assailant - resulting in a sort of satisfactory stalemate. Term originates from UK online gaming community of late 90's early 00's, in particular "Counter-Strike" and "Halo: Combat Evolved". (Halo was originally played online via the system link facility, directly to another machine over the internet. Halo was never updated for proper Xbox Live online play)

"I was killed, but I got a quality death grenade!"

"Death grenade! I don't need to be alive to own you bitch!"
