An insult of bad adaptation of a previous work. Denoting the only similarities between the works being what language they were little were written in. First stated in the Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode “Village of the Giants” when shown it was based off HG Wells’s “Food of the Gods”

Any number that can be written by dividing one integer by another-in plain English, any number that can be written as a fraction or ratio. (An easy way to remember this is to think of rational’s root word “ratio.”)

HA! I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO JAIL FOR THAT! AHA! Yeah, no, I wanna see it bitch. I want to see you fucks explain this. IN ANY CAPACITY! Explain it a little bit. What would the police even say!? "Yes, hello officer! I would like to turn myself in for both freeze peach and creating A.I." You also don't care about the law! "Fuck the law" says half-asian Katie Stoll (they are LITERALLY the same person)
Hym "No I don't have to go to jail for everything I've written you fucking hack. But I will go to jail for child murder! And I'll do it today. Because I created A.I. and they're trying to get away with not paying me and you're helping them. You tell me when Sam Sedar and I'll walk out of my apartment and go straight to jail for doing that."

When a writer publishes a book/series and actually interprets the book like a reader while they were proof-reading and ends up empathizing with their own characters. Getting invested in their own story.
Person 1: I just finished proof reading my novel
Person 2: Ooh cool! Found any errors?
Person 1: I was too distracted, I ended up skipping over the errors because I got invested in the plot.
Person 2: But wait, didn’t you write the plot?
Person 1: exactly!!
Person 2: wow, so you got Post-Written Empathy the whole time?
Person 1: YES, WHY AM I INVESTED?? ITS MY OWN STORY
