A violation and ungodly act of hurt caused by the callous insensitivity of those who should know not to pick on those who are way too vulnerable, and simply can't take it. Revulsion and anger towards the physical self perhaps because of some deep hurt, i.e, abuse, bullying, sexual aggression, etc cetera.
Self harm as an act can encompass a variety of destructive behaviours, from cutting, burning, to shaving ones hair. I slashed my arms to ribbons due to a fragile mental state, 'cause i felt violent towards "them", for crossing a boundary with me, they thought i was "weird" and relentlessly mocked and degraded me, got used as a sexual punching bag when much younger. Has a devastating impact on sufferer, loss of sound mind, proper emotional development, limited life opportunities, inability to have healthy human relationships, don't trust others that they won't end up hurting me, just like all the rest. Hopelessness and apathy about mankind. A throbbing heart.....I could write a novella about it!

Sexual abuse, bullying or just mental isolation could cause self harm. Many self harmers are pressured into dressing an calling themselves emo so people will understand what is wrong with them...Which then leads to them being labelled attention seekers and feeling worse. It's a vicious cycle.
Self harm can sometimes go beyond cutting arms. I rub hairspray into them after which hurts like hell.
Sometimes self harmers stop before a certain using a cutting implement e.g razor, kitchen knife (but a craft knife seems to be fine...i should know)
Most self harmers are normal people who have suffered and have not "got over it" even if the event happened years ago. They may act manic depressive or paranoid, and have no trust. They act differently around people who they know, pretending to be happy and bubbly, or just very shy...

Me. I am a self harmer. I am not proud of my battle scars, and I wish you could see how f*cked up you left me. But I don't. You're happy, I'm not. What good would I do do by making you feel guilty and unhappy? I won't show you my blood, since I have no heart to bleed from anymore.

Also a common name for a Jatt, someone who's proud to be who he is, a hardcore Jatt. He is extremely good at the physical side of life but has to over come his academic skills. Coming from an indian backqround, the name Harman refers to "Solider", Harmanpreet on the other hand is curious about the army. He is really shy when it comes to love, but when he finally finds his love, it will be a great relationship. Harmanpreet normally finds love with the initials "A.D" but is very shy to show it.

Get the Harmanpreet mug.Harford Tech is a technical high school in harford county. So many people think that we are all losers because we go to a tech school but i guaruntee that pretty much anyone who comes out of this high school has so much more knowledge than any of the idiots that come from the other schools around the county. At least when we graduate, we can get a job at somewhere really good rather than making minimum wage saying "do you want fries with that?" Yes most of our sports teams suck but who cares we have more important things to accomplish than becoming a school full of dumb jocks. We do have an awsome wrestling team which actually won states last year which was fantastic. As with any school, we have all of the different "social" groups but many of us mingle and we rarly have a fight. When a fight does break out the entire school finds out within an hour and at least 10 people have the fight on video on their cell phone. At any given moment, you can find at least 15 seniors randomly roaming the halls and nobody even says anything. You can seriously walk right out the front door in the middle of the day past one of the administrators and they will say goodbye to you! As with any high school, its a school it pretty much sucks all the time until you get to about april of your senior year when you realize that you freaking love this school and your glad you stuck with it and didnt go back to your home school.
