News that's just in; in and around 7:30- 8:30am & must be discussed with your bestie. Usually on the phone whilst on the way to work.

Phone rings, one friend to another:- -"Morning Gossip!"

-"Literally, SO much chat and it's only 7:45am!"

Gossip hoarder

One who collects gossip for the purpose of having gossip and who doesn't use it for anything else.

Gossip hoarder: A person who overhears gossip but doesnt reveal said gossip they just keep it to themselves.

E.g. A johnny tight lips character

A hush

A person who listens but doesn't tell

A collector of private information

The act of engaging in conversation for the sole purpose of harvesting gossip, usually from people deemed to be friends.

I used to count them as my friend, but now I see that their only intentions was gossip fishing!

gossip messenger

A person that hears gossip about Person B from Person A, then goes and tells Person B the gossip about them

Person A “OMG DID YOU HEAR?!?!”

gossip messenger “ABOUT WHAT?”
Person A “Person B cheated on her boyfriend”

Gossip messenger “😳😧”

Gossip messenger goes and tells person B about their gossip that they heard is going around the school...

person b “😞😭😭😭😭 BUT I DIDNT!!!”

gossip girl

1. A really good book series. Cecily von Zeigesar is a really good author. Even though Gossip Girl books are the number one banned book series or something.
2. A sucky tv series. Blake Lively (who played Bridget in the sisterhood of the traveling pants and had her picture on CosmoGirl) plays Serena van der Woodsen. Well, she tries. She absolutely sucks at it. Her voice is too breathy and everything for her to be a slutty, unpredictable it-girl. She's not even pretty.
Some girl plays Blair Waldorf and does an excellent job. They messed up Nate, Jenny, Dan and Dan's dad. Chuck Bass is really good and they took a character very important to the story, Vanessa.

2. This stupid tv show, Gossip Girl, is the crappiest show ever!
