Cartoon coin rope thingy trick

A humorous phrase referring to the act of tying or attaching an object attached to a rope, in the hopes of having someone steal said object and then yanking the other end of the string to take the stolen object back.

(Term originally coined by Youtube user "Salim")

You could say he pulled a... 'cartoon coin rope thingy trick' card to take the phone back!

It's a strategy in Portal 1 Speedrunning based around skipping the opening of "flippy_turret_door_12", a func_door_rotating entity, in order to save time. It is known to be the longest expression for a speedrunning trick.
Also called "flippy skippy".
