Canadian Deadline

A deadline which, if missed, bears no consequences or can be extended indefinitely.

My professor at UofT said we need to hand in our papers by Friday, but we all know that’s a Canadian deadline. I’ll ask for an extension until next month, and come up with some excuse for it.

There is no deadline

Stop telling them that there is a deadline.

Hym "There is no deadline. If I have to wait for your pretend, imaginary deadline that I am TELLING YOU RIGHT NOW DOESN'T EXIST... I swear... I will do 100% of the thing I said I would do. So... From this point on, I am going to 1% of the things I said I would do for every day that I have to wait. I will decide which of those thing constitute 1% and I will do those things in the absolute."
