The dumbing down of casual conversation to single phrases, words, and eventually to only grunt like sounds. It is likely for the purpose of farming Discord server XP or is a vain attempt to "return to monke."

I think they've been hit with the Shuv effect, they're all just spamming "nice" and "pog" instead of adding to the conversation.

When you see a garbage can that looks like a Among us character, You hum the among us effect. Sadly, there is no coming back from the among us effect once you have it, you have it forever. Doctors cannot find a cure. Sadly You'll have to sit there, all of eternity, thinking of among us. Humming that same song. Be careful, Its contagious.

The Antoine Effect

The Antoine Effect:

An internet phenomenon exclusive to the LGBT+ teenager side of GETTR in which a fictional character or person is popularized and idolized, becoming the stock of humor and inside jokes. The name derives from Antoine Leblanc, a fictional character (who also happens to be a DILF) belonging to one of the GETTR users.

Any character going through the Antoine effect will be the butt of jokes and well thought out humor. They may also be sexualized in a joking manner, such as the term “antoinussy” given to Antoine Leblanc. The characters popularity will skyrocket and soon be known throughout most of GETTR.

Oliver: "Hey, Connie, did you hear about that new character my friend drew and posted to GETTR?"

Connie: "Yeah, she seems to be going through The Antoine Effect."
