Get the creep wagonmug. Any “non-union” truck that pulls onto a union job site to deliver building materials or heavy machinery. Usually they have an out of state registration and license plates, predominately from New Jersey and driven by illegal immigrants. Many times they may have a sleeper birth. They typically drive like maniacs because they get paid “by the load” at a very low rate. Companies love to use the “one pick, on drop” excuse for using them instead of the right UNION trucks.
The teamster was on a job site and seen a truck with a sleeper pull into the other side of the job, so he asked the onsite steward, “hey jim, is that company a signatory?” Jim replied, “nah man, that’s one of those one drop one pick out of state scabbin-wagons!”
