They might say "I'm not angry, you're projecting" while clearly angry, or "you need to calm down" as a way of escalating conflict while claiming the moral high ground. The Emotionpost is recognizable by its focus on the target's emotional state—real or imagined—as a way of avoiding substantive engagement.
