Combing Emoji and the Latin word for wrong, Iniuriam, we have the word emojiniuriam. Pronounced Ee-Mo-Gee Nare-Ee-Um.

Emojiniurium is the situation where someone uses the wrong emoji on a post, text, or other form of communication.

Many emojiniuriams are intentional and are intended to inflame, attempt sarcasm, or just troll but sometimes people will mistakenly use the wrong emoji and this is also considered an emojiniuriam.

I posted about my pet frog dying and received some hurtful emojiniuriams.
