The rapper raised on 37th street southeast and would go from shelter home to shelter home, eventually landing himself in a juvenile detention center. No Savage music is local to the DMV along with being unlike any other rappers in the DMV area and don’t just take my word for it “Throughout all of 2018 and early 2019, No Savage dropped experimental tracks in an attempt to find his sound. It wasn’t until “Stop Dat” that he had a clear-cut style. His music is defined by an overwhelming sense of urgency; he doesn’t miss a beat, and every second has a purpose(Eli Grehn).” The song “Mood Switch” who is song by No Savage & Shy Glizzy my personal favorite, demonstrates how these two rappers were able to patch up their past beef. Doing this benefited 37th street because they were two powerhouses who grew up in and reped the same street. That ‘were’ brings me to my conclusion. No Savage was captured on camera shooting at a couple of people after an altercation had occurred. The shooting occurred in Fairfax Virginia at Tysons mall, all involved were able to escape, but 3 were seen injured leaving the seen. Today No Savage turned himself in to the Fairfax county police after being on the run for two days.
