Any fail video reposted by Fail Blog or Break would be an example of the "Law of The Internet."

2. If something on the Internet has been seen by many people from different locations it has reached The Greater Internet.

Viral videos, memes, and Tosh.0 fall under The Greater Internet.

Ruined by the internet 

When something becomes so great, it's crushed by its own popularity. Usually ruined by angry pre-pubesent little boys and "independent" scene girls on tumblr

Gangnam Style used to be so cool and fun, but it was ruined by the internet. It became so overused to the point everyone just got sick of it.

I used to like playing Minecraft, until the angry pre-pubescent little boys started playing it. It was ruined by the internet!

2. People who engage in the above activities on the internet or people who troll so much on the internet they may actually be considered to be "trash" or a "trashy person" in real life.

The morass that is formed by comment fields on the internet, anywhere. It is a cesspool for people being anonymously vile. The people in the cesspool often seek out things they know they hate, because they get off on being angry and disgusted, and expressing this in lurid terms.

I made the mistake of looking at the bottom half of the internet.

rule 0 of the internet

Ask for none, and you shall recieve all.

In other words, if someone explicitly says they don't like something or don't want to see something, that's all they'll see for an extended period of time. Examples include the Harambe meme, Ligma, and Philip Defranco being called "daddy".

YouTube commenter 1: Here's 10 dollars for you, daddy

Philip Defranco: Thanks, but please don't call me "daddy".
