friend zone

Formerly a way for a nice guy to express frustration that a female friend of his was always telling him she needed to be with a guy like him in between dating guys who treated her like crap. Now a reason for misandrist feminists to play the victim card and write shrill screeds about how the concept of the friend zone is "sexist" and claim that the men think being nice to a woman obligates her to have sex with them. The feminists ignore the probability that the men actually want relationships with the women and the women really are just shallow and attracted to "bad boys" who really do treat them like crap.

"That guy complains about how so many girls like abusive jerks while the friend zone nice guys like him. I don't know anything about the particulars of his situation, but still I'm 100% certain that just means he is a wimp who expects girls to have sex with him for being nice to them. "

Friend of a Friend

A heterosexual friend of a homosexual. Adapted from the term "Friends of Dorothy". While a heterosexual cannot (by definition) be a "Friend", they can of course be a confidante to someone who is a "Friend". There is, however, a distinction to be made vs. "friend of a friend", so you have to listen for the capital F.
