Gold medals

If the women's team has won 4 gold medals... And the bestbthe MEN'S TEAM has every placed is 3rd... How are they not doing a better job?
Hym "Conservatives are celebrating the loss of the AMERICAN WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM because one of the team members is an ideological dissident... But you know what they HAVE NEVER CELEBRATED EVEN ONCE? The US men's team winning any Gold medals! How many do the women have? 4!? And you can't even win once!? The only way the US men's team will ever win a gold medal is if they slap on some purple wigs and play as women."

Want a medal?

A sarcastic way of telling someone to get over it and stop seeking validation for doing something nobody asked you to do in the place, especially if they're going to be an asshole about it.
Entitled: Ayo, I did this for you. YOU'RE WELCOME!

ME: Want a medal?

Entitled: PLEASE!

Presidential Medal of Freedom

An award bestowed by the president of the United States to recognize people who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors". The Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal are the highest civilian awards of the United States. The award is not limited to U.S. citizens and, while it is a civilian award, it can also be awarded to military personnel and worn on the uniform. It was established in 1963 by President John F. Kennedy, superseding the Medal of Freedom that was established by President Harry S. Truman in 1945 to honor civilian service during World War II.
In the picture below, Vice President Joe Biden earned the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2017 with distinction.
