The awkward position one finds oneself in when a girlfriend, or wife, agrees to do or wear something thrilling ( like nipple tassels ) but then, in the interim, uses this promise to win impossible arguments etc.

Example :

Joe “ So, did you get to watch the game last nite ? “

Joel “ Nah man, there was some crappy romantic comedy on HBO, and the girlfriend still has me tassel-blocked “
