Active tense of larp. Wilful self delusion in the service of strong egoic compulsions. The wilful desire to attribute imagined context to a situation or activity in order to live out romanticised situations and roles for egoic fulfilment.

i.e. Q, the ultimate larp congregation. Modus operandi, the purposeful suspension of critical thinking in order to open up reality to being much more interesting than it really is. Attributing deeper meaning to randomness and assuming there is a greater order or conspiracy at play that can account for why life's events aren't unfolding the way you expect them to.
