Most people native to your town drives old beat down Subarus and the like and makes local wages, the Cali bangers moved in to the that ugly new speculative real estate development, driving a brand new Escalade. They generally don't seem to care much about the local culture, dress funny, and when migrating in droves, often cause the Californication of the places they arrive (these effects include but not limited too, a proliferation of strip malls, chain coffee shops, and ugly new real estate).
