An idiom which means: to hide something, usually embarrassing, from others.
An example of "sweep something under the rug":

Causing someone to fall rapidly and in love with you:

Sleep strip 

Going to sleep fully clothed and waking up naked due to stripping while sleeping when the A/C isn't working.
Dude, fix the A/C will you? It's not that fun when you sleep strip and you have a roommate!

Sleep scrobble

Sleep scrobbling is the act of allowing last.fm to scrobble your song plays while you sleep. You would really only do this if you wanted to appear as if you listen to an artist more than you actually do. Only a depraved individual would commit such a heinous act so don't do it.
