Silver Difluoride is a chemical compound with the formula AgF2. It is a rare example of a silver(II) compound. Silver usually exists in its +1 oxidation state. It is used as a fluorinating agent. It has a hygroscopic, white or grey crystalline powder appearance
"Silver Difluoride is very expensive, it is around $1000 - $1400 per kilogram. It can only be made by reacting with AgF or AgCl with an elemental fluorine and must be hotter at 200 degrees Celsius for the chemical reaction to work."

In the restaurant industry, and usually in fine dining, the flatware is polished using a cloth or napkin after coming out of the dishwasher so as to remove stains or food that did not come off during washing and to give the flatware a good appearance. Usually falls into the category of “side work.”
