A person who thinks they are smart, but are the opposite. Also-known as a "teacher's pet". Believes she is funny when they are in fact stealing jokes/ adding on jokes, which takes out the humor. Unpopular.

This kid is so Zarif, even the teacher asked him to stop.

It is a slang term mostly used in Pakistan.
