A person (usually in a video game) who plays loud and obnoxious music most of the entire time, and Play The Victim while a sprinkle of being toxic to people who call them out about the music or play music as well .

As soon as I joined the game, I knew that there was a boom shark.

Guys or girls that start hanging out with you at the bar if you're enjoying bottle service, hoping you'll share.

These are the guys and girls that suddenly try to become your best friends when they see you at your private VIP section enjoying bottles of Grey Goose, pouring drinks for your group. They usually show up with at least one beverage in hand, and may purchase another and come right back, but their ultimate goal is to delve into your booze and let the drinking frenzy begin.
